MURRIETA, Calif., Jan. 25, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Left Behind Games Inc. (OTCBB:LFBG), dba Inspired Media Entertainment, a leading publisher of Christian video games, reports its progress in the past year and the outlook for 2010.

In the multi-billion dollar video game business, Left Behind Games continues to be a pioneer in the new Christian segment of the market. Although it is impossible to predict how long it will take for Christian Games to manifest their full potential, consumers have shown evidence of their desire to migrate to the purchase of good, wholesome games. The following successful achievements in the past year show clear indications of this trend:

-- The Walmart 100-store retail test was an overwhelming success and shows
us that there is a substantial market in mainstream retail business for
Christian games. Our LEFT BEHIND: Tribulation Forces and Charlie Church
Mouse games were completely sold out several days in advance of
Christmas. Further, the original three-year old LEFT BEHIND: Eternal
Forces game continued to show life as it was distributed in nearly every
Target Store in America, demonstrating that Christian games have longer
lives.
-- The retail test was significantly successful enough to attract interest
from the country's largest video game representative firm, SMP
Communications, resulting in an agreement signed with the anticipation
to roll out all our products into mainstream retail outlets throughout
2010.
-- Our church marketplace direct sales efforts have been perfected to
elicit interest from more than 50% of the pastors contacted by our
representatives. As we seek to perfect the second stage of the process,
we anticipate 2010 will be a year of tremendous grass-roots growth and
support throughout the nation's churches.
-- The major Christian retailers appear to be bouncing back from the
recession and have begun to place orders, with more expected in the
coming weeks.
-- Now that the marketplace appears to be ready for more Christian games,
our new focus on the Nintendo Wii and XBox 360 for future titles should
begin our company's transformation from a PC game publisher to an
all-platform video game producer.

I have continually received emails and phone calls from investors encouraging us in our effort to stay the course, steadfast with the knowledge that Christian games will become a significant market. The question isn't "if," it's just a matter of "when."

Thank you to everyone who supports our mission to make a difference by investing in Left Behind Games. We hope our investors are as proud as we are to be associated with a company that provides a healthy alternative in a video game industry that so desperately needs "hope" to be portrayed in a form of media which reaches this generation.
