MNTA: Why do analysts, in particular the one from the Deutsche Bank, believe there will be several (>=3) generic versions of Lovenox on the market in the not too distant future. Currently there are only 3 ANDA's for generic Lovenox and it looks like Amphastar will not be approved any time soon, if ever. Does she believe other companies will apply and be able to get a generic drug on the market within a few years? Even after Teva and Amphastar have had there ANDA's at the FDA for 7 years without approval.
I can't imagine there being more than 2 generic Lovenox drugs on the market within the next 5 to 6 years. Hopefully only one.
