GM vegetable oils with enhanced nutritional qualities are perhaps the least controversial GM products insofar as the benefits accrue to the consumer rather than the farmer. Was there any reason, IYO, to think that SBS’ enhanced safflower would not be approved?

Arcadia and its commercialization partner, Bioriginal Food and Science Corp., expect to have commercial quantities of SONOVA™ 400, available for sale in the first quarter of 2010 as an ingredient for dietary supplements.
