No they are not the same owners, no connection.

Citi Field is owned by the Mets and the Mets are owned by Fred Wilpon and his Sterling Equities partners and run by Queens Ballpark Co which is also controlled by the Wilpons.

MSG is owned by Cablevision Systems Corporation.
