Why could you kick yourself? It does nothing to your total market value. 20 shares at $1 is the same as 1 share at 20$. The whole point of the reverse split was to prevent day traders/speculators from playing around with the price of the stock on a long term basis. People in general tend to think it's easier to go from 10$-20$ then from 100$ to 200$. In reality, it's the same %.
