BIDU +0.585 ($466.99). State Dept. and Larry Lindsey back Google's war with China. Is Google biting off more than it can chew? At this point, it has given China no room to back off and save face.

Obviously Google is doing this with the full blessing of the Obama administration, and given the search engine's close ties to this president, I can only surmise that this is part of a larger plan to put pressure on China.

However, with the US trillions of dollars in debt to China, and dependent on that country to purchase additional billions of dollars of US debt at upcoming auctions (and even more, should Obama decide to embark on a second stimulus), is this wise?
