Hi all. I am 18, and I am going to be graduating this year. I just got into buying stocks after my junior year ended, and I needed some advice from you all, but I am kind of weirded out. I thought that the best indicator on whether to buy a stock or not was volume. Am I correct? Yesterday, a big gainer on volume was ECGR, and today it was CYSG. Both stocks didn't go higher today. What gives? Also, I haven't seen much talk about CYSG on here or on IHUB, but there has been a heck of alot of talk and debating on ECGR, some of it has been ugly...certainly not what I expected when I came here. I have family that swears by this site, but I didn't know that people on here can attack others on a personal level just because of a stock! If someone has an opinion of a stock that differs from yours, are you not to express it? If I like PSC and others don't, does that mean that majority rules so I shouldn't be heard, or even worse, I should be ridiculed? I tried buying this stock ECGR yesterday based on volume, and came on here because I thought I could get some insight as to why the spike, but all I saw was a feud between several folks over some misinformation about the stock and some group that noone knows about that picks stocks. I dont' get why there has been such arguing going on by folks. I bought CYSG today and had absolutely no problem at all, but the stock fell. Although there was some disagreements in there, I was really afraid to post because I didn't know if I would screw up again. But with this CYSG, why was there no arguing about this stock today? There still is stuff going on about ECGR. I don't understand. If I have a question in the future, should I post it, or should I just keep to myself, because I am going to get deleted or my account be terminated. I don't get it. I wanted to become a premium member, but now, I don't know anymore. Will this make a difference? I am sure this post too will be deleted, but maybe someone in here will help me understand how this works, or how it is right. I really want to make alot of money for college buying stocks, so please help me out. I don't qualify for any scholarships, even though I have tried like heck to get one. Anyway, thanks.
