The main weakness of this thread IMHO is its almost exclusive focus on the NAZ. The NAZ has not been the place to be recently. And stock market history shows that industries that lead one bull market almost never lead the next one. Look at the energy stocks which greatly outperformed in the 1970s, but underperformed for many years thereafter.
