Powerball! New $100 KIK Contest

Everybody knows that the original Lotto concept was revolutionized by the introduction of the Powerball. Lotto interest and sales soared as the pots climbed ever higher. Therefore, it seems only natural that our PSL might similarly enjoy renewed/expanded interest with our own version of a Powerball.

Here's what I have in mind:

I'm sure I'm not alone in having trouble deciding on that last stock to add to my Pick 6, should it be ABCD or WXYZ?? Well, with this latest KIK Contest, I'm attempting to shine a light on those "seventh picks". I'm requesting all our players to declare one stock which is not in their Pick 6 as their Powerball.

I'll keep track of the returns on these Powerball selections, and the player that has the best performing Powerball over the course of PSL14 will get $100 donated by me to the charity of his/her choice.

Simple, yet elegant.

You can, but don't have to, submit your Powerball pick with your PSL14 entry. I'm requesting all Powerball picks by 4PM on January 15th and I'll use the closing prices that day. If there is a duplicate Powerball pick, the first player to pick it chronologically gets it; others will have to submit a new pick.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please make sure your Powerball pick trades on an American exchange (no Canadian stuff, sorry) and is over $.25/share on 1/15/10. Otherwise, there are no restrictions on this pick based on volume, earnings, market cap, etc.

When you do submit your Powerball, please put

Powerball [stock symbol]

in your subject line, so I can reference it easily...thanks. Also, if you'd like to share a little (or a lot) of DD on your Powerball, we'd all be much the wiser for it...:)

And remember, you gotta be in it to win it!

Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.
