Those BPCOMPQ and NASI vs 20-day ema charts look like a useful tool. I switched them to weekly displays, which shows the history. (The 20-day ema corresponds, at five trading days per week, to a 4 week ema, I believe.)

While you are correct that they have not crossed the 20-day ema yet, it looks like they are not far from it, in the grand scheme of things, but I would have to admit that it could go either way.
