I was browsing the board to find an apparently bad News for BioDiesel producers. N0t approving the biodiesel tax credit by the Senate could create 6 Mil. loss in profits for ENTK
1. Yearly Production Mid 2010 : 6,240,000 gal/year 2. Price at Refinery = $1.93/gal 3. Cost of Production = $0.8/gal 4. Total profits = $1.46 * 6,240,000 = $9,110,000 Federal subsidy = $0.33/gal Profit= Price at Refinery + Subsidy - Cost of production = $1.93 + $0.33 - $0.80 = $1.46
ENTK will still have profits but it wont be as good as we all expected!
The good news is that Senate might approve it as soon as this quarter with retroactivity:
