Oh Man - all hell breaking loose is an understatement, Mariner! Not only the weather but the Christmas Day terrorist incident. What a difference that made re the security! One of the ladies who had to pat me down on the way back kept apologizing over and over until I finally told her it was allright.

There was very little complaining and believe me the lines were long!

But back to the weather...watching some of those videos made me homesick for N.D. I don't go there for Christmas anymore albeit I still have lots of family there too. One of my kin who lives in Aberdeen, S.D. made it out to Spokane ...but they were worried about getting back home as their airport is very small and closes down after just a few inches of snow. They lucked out, however... and made it back safely.

It seemed strange not to see snow in Spokane...that's only happened once before at Christmas about 5-6 years ago. I was so looking forward to making at least one snow angel too... LOL
