Its an interesting read. Alot of it reads more like a print ad then it does an objective assessment.
There is alot of truth about the target markets but what isn't talked about is why the hospitals prefer off site solutions. Everyone needs to remember a few things. This equipment is a machine and as such needs to be treated as such. it needs maintaince and it needs an operator to run it. Those things are all costs on top of the purchase. When it breaks the hospital pays to fix it unless the breakage falls under the maintainance contract.
With off site no such costs, the waste just diappears and somebody else worries about the machines.
waste removal is not a profit center for a hospital it is a cost. they are much more likely to spend money on a new MRI machine and generate profits then they are to spend money for onsite and then try to get an ROI of several years.
