Please dude, I don't scroll through this whole board searching for basher posts. First, only shitty bulbs go to the dollar store. You must wonder why 10,000 hrs seems to go by so fast if that is where you are getting your bulbs. Second, you obviously are confused about the drawbacks to CFL's which is the lack of three-way capability. The only thing this bulb is missing is the dimming capability. Personally I can't stand dimmers so this is not a loss. I'm sure you'll figure it out. Ok, I'm not sure but good luck to you.
