I can buy enough felt to make 10 snuggies for $35 (seriously people, have you ever seen one of those things and seen first hand just how crappy, cheap, and awful they are...yet in their first three months, they sold over $50M worth...and then moved on to a run rate of almost $100M a month at one point).

I can buy a crappy 2nd gen mobile phone for $19 and a refurbished laptop for $150 yet I still forked out $600 for an unlocked 3G iPhone.

It's not necessarily the product - it's the timing and the marketing and the pitch that get things moving...and since no one has really done this with the ionic bulb, there's a great chance it will take off.

We'll see how this turns out. I'm bullish.
