Perhaps the best hope for SBS, long shot though it may be, is if MNKD is successful in commercializing its inhaled Technosphere insulin. This would allow SBS to bring back those hockey-stick graphs that purported to show how conventional insulin supply cannot keep up with worldwide demand.
