Would someone please explain in specifics what makes the Matchfights product unique to the world of MMA/unarmed combat.

I realize the first format(bareknuckles, no rules etc) was somewhat unique, however the first format has been abandoned..so this leaves us ..where??

I realize the FAQ section on the website provides some feedback and statements from the company regarding the uniqueness of Matchfights...BUT..the feedback and statements provided on the company website make absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever...for example:

the company says matchfight events are different from others because: "we will showcase all martial art styles not just MMA"..HUH?....apparently Traveller and Geddes do not know what MMA stands for...MMA=MIXED MARTIAL ARTS...

and the company also lists this gem as setting matchfights apart from other organizations:

"we allow hand-wrap....which affords for multiple striking techniques-not just punches"....HUH??....apparently Traveller and Geddes do not know what hand-wrap is.....MOST MMA promotions/organizations allow for the use of 'hand-wrap' and in many cases it is a REQUIREMENT...good grief!! AND....'hand-wrap' protects the HANDS and wrists during STRIKING...as in PUNCHING...so please explain how hand-wrap will encourage "MULTIPLE STRIKING TECHNIQUES-NOT JUST PUNCHES"

Oh...and of course the company touts the 'live internet PPV broadcast'.....Internet PPV MMA EVENTS have been taking place for YEARS...nothing new there!

oh...and as far as the fans picking the matchups....nothing unique there either...DREAM promotions out of Japan has done this in the past.

oh...and as far as the viewers serving as the official JUDGES...Not going to happen folks...for OBVIOUS reasons...

So as far as what makes Matchfights/WCFC events unique...That shoots down every single statement published on the Matchfights/WCFC website contained in the FAQ section..Of course the company did state(in the FAQ section,while addressing the 'uniqueness' question)..that they could go on and on describing the details of what makes matchfights so-so different...I guess they had better get busy and list a few more of these 'unique traits' since those currently listed either make NO sense whatsoever or are not unique in MMA events...WOW!
