COMS-3Com Named a Top Technology Innovator by VARBusiness Magazine

MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Nov 3, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- 3Com Corporation, a networking industry leader, has been recognized by VARBusiness magazine for outstanding achievement in technology innovation. The enterprise-class, high-speed 3Com(R) Wireless LAN Access Point 7250 was awarded a VARBusiness Tech Innovator Choice Award in the mobility category of the VARBusiness Tech Innovators award competition. The 3Com SuperStack(R) 3 Switch 3200, a competitive 10/100 local area network (LAN) switch, was also named a finalist in the networking category for innovative distinction.
VARBusiness magazine, which covers the business of technology integration, honored 3Com at an awards event held on Oct. 18, 2004, in Coronado, Calif. The Wireless LAN Access Point 7250 and SuperStack 3 Switch 3200 were among 466 entries submitted by 250 companies in nine technology categories.
