And if that happened, Walrath would never approve it now that the US Trustee is involved and asking for an EC. Remember - any settlement must be approved by the BK Court.

WMI can try and settle whatever they want with JPM/FDIC to pay off creditors, but if Walrath says no go because an EC must be in representation, then its back to the drawing board.
