I bought my 7th Verizon wireless phone for my company plan recently. While I was awaiting programming, I noticed something that makes me less bearish then you. Technician came out of backroom with large box in her hands. Wham, she slams the box down on counter. Then she lifts box up off counter to reveal 8 or 10 Samsung cellphones splayed in disarray on the counter. Within 5 minutes, cellphones sold by salesmen only to have this process repeat itself again.
QCOM gets paid on each cellpone no matter what is average lifespan of CDMA phone in customers hands. IMO may be less then 24 months on average.
