I guess it's possible. Might be something to look into.

Even the MACD peak setup failed us this time. We got the 1,2,3 and it dropped anyway.

I'm looking for a triangle shaped consolidation pattern to form now.

If this is really bottom temporarily, that consolidation will be the confirmation before moving back up to form Wave B.
