They never will be, but a little civility goes a really long way IMO.

I think it is great when a bunch of people of differently thinking minds get together and have an educated discussion/debate about their views.

I think that if utter disrespect of other people's views is more prominent than educated thought in a political chat room that the chat room in question could very easily be compared to the chaos that is RagingBull.

Nothing quite as confusing or aggravating than trying to pick out some good information from a bunch of meaningless bashing.

It isn't productive at all.
