I'm not suggesting ariad will or won't raise money before a joint venture agreement. We know they're in talks but we don't know how far along they are or if they have a framework in place. Either way some people seem to think they need to raise $ imminently which i don't agree with. I think things will be a lot more clear in a few months. ACHN on the other hand unless they already have a deal in place i'd be surprised if they get a deal done before some sort of funding. On second thought their last round as i recall had an option for the buyers to double down. Not sure what happened with that. I haven't followed them too closely.
