I will say this again....Roush. Now, this isn't confirmed yet, but when it does get confirmed and they produce a PR regarding this then expect huge MOMO and PPS gain.
My thoughts about the new ad:
A. Two cars mentioned.
1. Verde Supercar w/ HP2g engine
2. RSC w/Roush engine
Peter is a genius by making this move to partner up with Roush. Talk about an instant industry credibility and with the body style like that of a Ford GT it's going to be a winner. Also noted; the Ford GT's haven't been in production since Feb. 2007. They sold @ 3600 of these vehicles in 24 months. Winner? I would say so. Where is the financing? Please, if Roush is involved, big time players will play. That is a fact.
B. If one of these cars doesn't do as well as expected (don't see how, but let's say this for comparison purposes here) then he'll still have the market of the other one. God, this is huge. It's like having the ultimate backup plan except either one of them is capable of huge sales IMO.
I did the research on the "Supercar" market and crunched the numbers that Peter put on in the PR (look at one of my older posts if you are interested). They stated 750 the first year and then 1500 after wards is not only reachable but I think they could possibly have miscalculated and overlooked the fact that there are not too many "American Built" Supercars out there and they wanted to focus on the "American and European" markets. What about global? Just a quick and brainless thought, I know. Just huge potential here.
A penny for your thoughts, Sir. Oh wait, we have some of those. Thank you, Peter!!!
GO RVGD!!!
