ACHN: Scratch my previous post because there’s another variable that renders the comparison in question all but meaningless: the proportion of patients who were treatment-naïve vs treatment-experienced. From the 2005 VRTX PR you just posted:

The trial enrolled 25 patients who were non-responders to prior interferon-based regimens, and 9 patients who were treatment-naive.
