information board,

I just returned from the trip out to provena,st.joseph medical center in joliet illinois.
it did not look too good at the onset,i was greeted with suspicion from the security guard when she was asked if i could speak with someone that handles the medical waste duties for the hospital.she gave me the extention number and i was told to call it from the lobby.

I introduced myself and told him that i was interested in infomation about the hospitals removal of medical and infectious waste.not knowing what system they had in place, his first comment was "we are happy with what we have here"

I proceded to tell him that i am not selling anything, just looking for more information regarding an installation of a medclean system that was installed in 2007.(that got his attention.) he hesitated and said "this is a strange call"

I told him i was in the lobby and travelled from wood dale in hopes of speaking with someone in person.he said that he would send someone to get me.

I was greeted by one of his assistants named penny, and she escorted me to the bowels of the hospital (basement).i introduced myself once again to him and he asked if i had a business card.at which i replied no,but i immediatly extended my drivers license to him at which he copied it.once again reiterating that i am not selling anything, just an investor in medclean and would like some information regarding the product so i can get a feel for the end users thoughts, and to share this information with fellow investors

his name is john obremski,he is the head of the what they call materials management for infecious disease.

the conversation went as follows:

Q.does the hospital still have the instalation that was put in to place in 2007?

A.yes

Q.was this a lease or purchase?

A.purchase

Q. does the company stand up to it's product?and how is the functionality?is there alot of downtime due to repairs?

A.the company is great on all fronts, yes it does stand up to it's product, and it is so easy to use that it is controlled by way of the computer on the machine.as far as the donwtime, other than the very minor times that it has been down it is considered by many to be a great investment.

Q.what kind of savings has the hospital seen?

A he said 100%,but could not comment on excact dollar amounts.

Q. does the hospital also have the little carts for transporting purposes?

A.yes.

Q.what area of disposal does this hospital use it for the most?

A.it is pretty much equal, but the disposal of medication if any would be the number one disposal area

Q.would you recommend the medclean system to other hospital if given the chance?

A.if i recieved a call from other hospitals inquiring about the medclean system, without a doubt.as i mentioned to you louie when we first spoke,we are happy with the system that we have in place

Q.i asked if i could see it?

A.no.because of security and safety issuses.

i then thanked him,and penny escorted me to the elevator.my curiosity was peaked.not that i needed more confirmation as to if the medclean system was there.i felt a need to see if i could find it.worse case scenario was that i would get tossed out.

thinking that his office was in the basement, and perhaps the best place to house one of those would be in that area as well.i proceded down the elevator in a different section of the basement.

i found it! and was able to see a few of the carts as well. however it was behind two secure doors with windows.from what i could hear it did not seem to be running at that time.i left seconds later and found my way out
