the anger i read in denniger's post seems directed at media interpretation of eco news. santelli being the poster spokesman of seeing clearly, others being more passive/(realistic? why would the Market act like it does if not).
getting fired up with santelli sometimes leads me into a frustrating short that backfires.
anyway, i don't believe that the media is that influential in persuading the Market, oneway or the other. afterall, it is constantly mouthing After The Fact movement (lagging indicator) of the Market in commentary or talking head support of such.
i'm finding more success in playing the small cap chinese movers lately.
