I would agree that we are among the best in the world on heroic super surgeries, but does that make our health care system the best in the world? People may come here to have their joined-at-birth twins separated, but they sure wouldn't come here to give birth or to receive good care and affordable medication while growing old. As with everything else, we concentrate our health care efforts on what makes the most money and scoff at what really constitutes good health care.
