morning novo -- here is some data that I like -- Susie (and many others) said that the country is becoming more divided because of Bush

-- so

If in 2000 92% of Blacks voted for Gore/8% for Bush and
this year apparently the split is Kerry 84%/Bush 16% -- does this mean the Blacks are getting more divided or less divided ???

Other selected info:
California
2000 Results: Bush 41.2, Gore 53.6, Nader 3.8 (Gore +12.4)
2001 - 10/27 Bush 42 -- Kerry 49 - (Kerry +7)
(Does this mean CA is more divided of less ???)

Hawaii
2000 Results: Bush 37.5, Gore 55.8, Nader 5.9 (Gore +18.3)
2001 RCP 10/20 - - 44.7 Kerry 43.8 - (Bush +0.9)
(Does this mean HI is more divided of less ???)

New Jersey
2000 Results: Bush 40.3, Gore 56.2, Nader 3 (Gore +15.9)
2001 RCP 10/29 - - 42.3 Kerry 48.0 2.0 Kerry +5.7
(Does this mean NJ is more divided of less ???)

Massachusetts
2000 Results: Bush 32.5, Gore 59.8, Nader 6.4 (Gore +27.3)
2001 9/25-10/5Bush 36 Kerry 50 Nader 2 Kerry +14
(Does this mean MA is more divided of less ???)
