I'm not a first grade teacher, but I'll try to be one right now.

What your question implied (to my way of thinking), is that you thought it was an impossible stretch of the imagination to believe that Americans would plot to kill other Americans. I guess that you didn't pick up on the fact that there are Americans willing to do that (Operation Northwoods for instance). And that if they're not willing to do it themselves, they can understand why our government would do it.

An example: lkorrow said, "I wouldn't doubt that our gov't orchestrated or allowed September 11th to happen. I think it was PNAC that said it would take an attack at home to gain the public support to fight this bold and insidious enemy. That's a true statement, whomever perpetrated 9/11. There seems to be credible evidence to suggest Pearl Harbor was allowed to happen so the public would back our entry to WW II. Similarly, it is possible the same scenario played out here in WW IV.

I don't justify their action, if it was their action, but I have made a decision to leave that to the pros and move on to focus more on solutions to the current geopolitical morass. I do look with interest and inject thoughts on occasion, but do not pursue it."
