what company is developing carbohydrate-based drugs to treat cancer?



Glycofi, now owned by Merck, at one point was developing such drugs. But I don't know what they have been up to since the merger.

There's also a small Australian company whose name I can't recall right now that at one point was working on an interesting heparanase inhibitor. I remember looking at them a few years ago but haven't followed them since - company was involved in some sort of protracted litigation. Can't recall the name other than that it was confusingly similar to some US biotech.
