Guess what- microcaps are not my strong suit here, and I like most am down a lot over the years with them.
Since I am older and happily retired, I now invest most of money(it is actually professionally managed) in good proven quality companies most of which pay nice dividends.
I invest my speculative money, which is quite small in comparison, in a few companies like this one which I feel hold very good potential with a nice reward to risk ratio.
Most importantly though, I always invest and/or to a smaller degree trade with the philosophy that even if my investment goes to zero and I lose everything, I can absorb the loss comfortably.
