GCHT / China's resolve for Wind Power....

OK, in short UN only gives help if energy projects are uneconomical.
China has said it's Wind farms are uneconomical and they need help.
UN is querying it.

So, $64,000 question is... If UN not willing to foot the bill...Will China continue if they have to foot the bill?

I don't know...

With regards to GCHT...

Oh, spoke to IR about the World bank subsidy thing. Essentially, they said that the current projects (the $128 Million) are fine. The up coming 700 Million project has **not** been signed off.


My guess would be something gets resolved... but perhaps China not so enthusiastic with wind???

Other interseting thing I read about is that Chinese Gov makes utilities pay over the odds to buy Turbines... so there's the margins ...

Anyway.. interesting...
