If GZFX spends that money on R&D and patents the smartchip system, it would have a permanent (20yr) advantage in the industry

Yup and the USPS is going to spend billions to outfit every PO in the country with this system just so one small company can have an advantage over its competitors.

Go back to the drawing board. That idea sux.
