I think your premise is that *if* any big company knows about NEOM then it will immediately recognize its huge value and all that. And because it hasn't done so, Google must simply just not know about NEOM. This doesn't follow. The other explanation is the company doesn't see the value, and that is actually what I saw.

The company had already concluded that this indirect model was not the way forward. This cryptic message suggested this was the basis of the company's IP and strategy, and so there appeared no relation to Google's needs. It was not somehow completely unconsidered, but the message sure didn't help encourage anyone to start a dialog. Later conversation with NEOM itself just confirmed the company was backing Google wasn't -- closed, indirect barcodes.

I hope that clarifies things. Everybody did their homework -- just came up with an answer you don't want. You can feel confident that somehow this is still a hot item in the company's mind but it sounds like this is just based on...? In seriousness, would be interested to hear evidence for it.

I think you're still hoping I have some sinister motive that will let you dismiss what I'm saying. That would be nice. I understand some people have lost a lot of money here. I don't have anything to hide. Please don't just believe me though. Follow pointers to third-party information that I provide -- notice how I actually reference the outside world? Draw your own conclusions. Bring back other facts and logical debate.
