I have always believed that the seizure was masterminded by lay people who thought they knew the law, and didn't know squat. A little knowledge of the law can get you in a whole lot of trouble. They certainly had no idea of the ramifications of a holding company filing bankruptcy. They certainly never read the constitution of the united states.
