I disagree. Microsoft was on the cusp of licensing years ago. But mismanagement by NeoMedia management those days failed to have it take place. Now that same type of licensing will happen but will not be tied to just the CueCat type functionality but the Web 2.0 market. Thus Microsoft could have saved lots of cash. They will now license or what I have said many times they will be part of NeoMedia and will then gladly accept checks written by Google to NeoMedia for the licenses.
