Corporate cultures don't change that easily and are not attributable to one person. What makes you think that has happened?

There is an old adage in changing corporate cultures. Once implemented, it is so massive, that:
1/3 will actively take the new direction.
1/3 will just go along with it but not be leaders
1/3 will resist it and need to be fired.

BTW, the settlement isn't it. In one way or another AMD was forced to settle. So was Intel. That is the definition of a settlement.
