I had never heard of this company until I saw a post from Peter about it over on SI. Then I searched on here and found this post from you. Dew, you indicated in your post that you know of no other companies working on this type of drug. Do you see there being a particular reason for no other companies working on this type of drug? Is it a case of something that likely just wasn't deemed feasible or likely to succeed in the clinic or marketplace? Or is this possibly a case where PYMX scientists have simply succeeded where others have failed in designing this type of drug?

Separately, isn't MNTA's M118 something that, if successfully developed, could ultimately limit the potential of this type of drug? I would assume there would still be a huge market opportunity as I imagine heparin and LMWHs aren't going away any time soon.
