The company should focus on what most successful companies focus their capital on. Producing profits. Not finding cheerleaders. Its pretty simple. Have vision, create a plan, execute it. What purpose does it serve the company to have someone temporarily promoting your stock? Maybe if you were using it as currency (printing shares) and paying vendors with it - but that's a pretty big stretch. It may serve you the long shareholder by attracting buyers temporarily who buy into the story - but the company doesnt get any of the capital that new shareholders are committing - only Wilf.
