It would also spell the end of Colorado as a factor in presidential politics. Thye have 9 electoral votes. A 10% victory would only make a 1 electoral vote difference- therefore, the candidates won't campaign in Colorado. Colorado would be giving up the clout that the electoral college gives small states.
It was brilliant of the framers of the constitution to come up with the system in order to protect the smaller states.
People who are voting to give that up are being shortsighted, regardess of which candidate they back
