That makes a certain amount of sense to me but I am not so sure that EU countries are going to put up with the U.S. going in to the F.R.Y. alone and I doubt they will have the public support to escalate military offensives in the F.R.Y. any time soon.

Not only would we probably see an objection from Europe to the U.S. going it alone but the mainstream Christians and burgeoning CRW in this country I think would raise their voices in protest.

Since the NATO bombing of the Eastern Orthodox ethnically Slavic Serbs the CRW has gained a significant amount of influence under Bush. 1999 saw a large chorus of Christian leaders condemn the bombing. How great an influence would the newly bulked up CRW albeit somewhat diminished under Kerry have?

I agree it could be more difficult today to garner the public support necessary to escalate a military offensive in Europe and the United States.
