it may have some effect. today art cashin noted that this morning many traders were slow and dragging in from the late yankee game last night. that effect may have created a buying opp. on the morning dip but the drop in oil appeared to have the biggest impact. one of these days there will be an intense dip in oil and a resulting spike in equities. i think there are too many on one side of the oil ship.
