Did you read the part where Intel repeatedly threatened to stop supporting your precious IPF if HP adopted AMD more fully?

That's what the running narrative said although the actual
quoted emails were far less lurid and seem to date mainly
from the 2002 era. Since then roughly $20B worth of IPF
systems have been sold, the majority from HP.

The funny thing is a new puff of anti-IPF FUD will benefit
who the most? IBM and AMD, two companies with major
economic links to NY state.
