It was organic chemistry, combining different chemicals in a reactor to produce a third product.

Before I joined that company they were having problems with seals. The seals would work great for the first 10 runs and break down due to the corrosive chemicals within the reactor. It took the boss over 6 months to find a product to fix the problem. JBII has redesign the reactor. This might not be the first improvement of many to come. Once JBII runs the reactor 100 times they will know just how well it works.
