It is clear at least to me the ones who have damaged the Republican party are those on the left within the party including Bush... The Religious Right in the party which I assume by the title of your book is not responsible... They are a small faction and do not hold the power you leftists invoke upon them... Just scare rhetoric which is funny cause they do not scare me near as much as leftist Commies...

BTW almost every Conservative I know had bad things to say about Bush as far as spending, immigration, How he fought the wars, and on and on... But we have gone over that again and again...
