Extelecom, I saw your post, and liked it.

I think we're saying very similar things. If there's a difference, it's that I expect a capitulation but think the "V" bottom will be more rounded than we've seen in earlier washouts.

I have no feeling about the short interest idea, mostly because I'm not inclined to accept the assertion that the public holds 51% of the short interest. Market-makers and specialists routinely use short interest in their daily operations and I suspect their percentage of the outstanding shorts is pretty high. That is not offered as a fact ... it is an opinion of mine.
