For those that don't believe we need Ted Ernest back. Let me ask you this.. what was his role @ Exobox?
Answer: He is the lead architect in designing the Exobox SECURE™ Suite Solutions (Formerly Known as SUEZ)
Coders are nothing more than just that - coders. Without them, there would be no product, but without a Lead Architect, there would be no guidance to the coders on what to code. With Ted gone, who will fit that role? If anyone who has experience with the process of making a software, you will know that the Architect assigns and distributes only a section to each coder to code. After each coder has written their scope of the work, the Project Manager (who could also be the Architect) puts all the code together to make a complete software. This is done so coders do not get mixed up with worrying about the entire software, which can results in bugs or glitches in a software. There are no coders that code the same & if you're working as a team, this could lead to many bugs, double-coverage or even loopholes in the software.
To best put this in analogy, to build a house (assuming the land has no existing building on top of it; just land). What needs to be done?
1.) The Architect draws up the blue-print to build a house.
2.) The Project Manager manages the construction site to make sure that all builders are on schedule & performing their duties.
3.) There's workers who just work on building the frames of the house.
4.) There's workers who just work on the plumbing
5.) There's workers who just work on putting up dry-walls
6.) There's workers who just work on roofing
7.) There's workers who just work on electrical work
8.) There's workers who just work on putting up doors & windows
9.) There's workers who just work on painting
10.) After all workers have fulfilled their duties, the house is complete.
In Exobox's case.. the Architect & Project Manager was Ted Ernest. Each workers from steps 3-9, were each individual coders working on just their scope of the software.

IMO, Ted Ernest was brought on board to complete the work that OSR was supposed to work on for $3+ million, which Exobox did not have the capital to fork out for it. Also please note that the SECURE Suite, did not even mention that the AV product (also part of SUEZ) was planned to be developed at all. I understand that a good majority (probably over 90%) invested in Exobox for the AV Product, but clearly no where was it mentioned on the list. However, since OSR's owner Tony Mason's name is listed on the patent of the Exobox AV solution, I highly believe there is a likely hood that the AV product could still very well be released.
What disturbs me is how misleading the first 2 product is labeled as both a Detection & Prevention Software, when clearly it is not a DLP product at all. On the contrary, the 2 products that Exobox has released is indeed a IP Tracking Module on detecting leaks. My basis of believing the first 2 products are not a DLP product is based on the technology of the 20+ DLP Companies that currently exist on the market. However, ExoProtect could be the data prevention or in Exobox's case data protection software, & the DLD products could be lumped together as the Detection & Prevention. IMO.. this is very confusing & misleading. I hope the ExoProtect product is not the Data Protection Software & is what we have all dreamed of - the AV product.
With the recent developments of the O&G wells, OSR can very well be back on board, as now Exobox well have the capital. If this is indeed the case, IMO they do not need Ted Ernest. With everything constantly changing, who really knows. We all have to wait & see how this will unfold.
