The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, or the Authority, announced the closing today of its previously announced offering of $200 million aggregate principal amount of 11 1/2% second lien senior secured notes due 2017, or the Notes, in a private placement pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the Securities Act. The Notes were issued at a price of 96.234% of their face value. The Authority is the owner and operator of a gaming and entertainment complex located near Uncasville, Connecticut, known as Mohegan Sun, and a gaming and entertainment facility offering slot machines and harness racing in Plains Township, Pennsylvania, known as Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, or Pocono Downs. continued...
