Personally I don't know squat about
the oil and gas industry. Exobox might as well be buying aromatic hog farms as far as I'm concerned.
But, if this keeps them alive and allows development of the AV software, then it is a good thing. If it is only about money, then my enthusiasm will drop.
The sores of the Internet desperately require an injection of penicillin if it is to ever reach its full potential. If Exobox does not culture it, someone else surely will because the need can only intensify.
Why not us? I hope oil and gas is the means to this end, not the end itself.
